Firmware with North America satellites????

Hi,

Someone gave me a Cryptobox 550HD receiver.

Does anyone here knows where can I get a firmware
that has list of North America satellites????

However, FUNNY, it does provide "NTSC" option.
So, where are the list of North America satellites
and satellite channels????

All I see is satellites for Europe.

Any alternative that can be done???

Don't know anything about this box. Doing some research it appears to be a box for EU that was never sold or pushed to the NA market. So looks like your on your own to build a satellite list for NA, unless someone has one and has made a list they can share.

Should be able to use the ALI Editor or Media Editor Studio software to open, edit and save a compatible user database from another ALI STB.

I would try to save what you got and then try to use various editors to see if any work.
The saved default sat/channel list file type should give a clue to what you need.
