Flashpoint on ION

The magical number of episodes is usually 100 for syndication here in the states. However, Flashpoint is on ION and they've only logged 75 episodes. Go figure. Anyway, I'm somewhat sad to see the show end but it was time. Now, it's just a pain and the arse to review all the upcoming episodes on ION and record the missing Season 5 episodes. C'est la vie!

Flashpoint is a Canadian CTV /Bell production, so I am guessing Ion didn't want to foot the bill for an entire season on their own. I don't think the Canadians worry about getting to 90-100 episodes for syndication purposes.

I'm really surprised they stopped it this season. The ratings in Canada have continued to climb, with the final 5th season having more viewers and higher ratings than the previous 4 seasons.

Well, I finally managed to record all thirteen episodes for Season 5. I'm going to watch an episode right now and finish watching the others by the end of the month. I'll miss this show as a summertime series.
