Yes its a good deal but with Olympics starting NBC sports is a must for me. I'm not a NASCAR fan but for those who are its also where NASCAR lives. Unless I missed something.

No ESPN U, ESPNews, MLB, NHL, or NBA either, among others. I don't think it's geared towards the major sports fans.

True. Probably, if they put together a Sports channel pack including major sports channels, it would push the price back up into Top 200 range anyway.

The Locals Pack list makes it seem like everyone will get MeTV in the locals pack, but I'm sure that's not the case.
Doesn't everyone get it already, in fact? It's a channel between 50-100. Can't remember the exact channel at the moment.

These channel packs are still a work-in-progress so expect minor changes or tweaks to continue. Those of us with it have found a few glitches or oversights, reported them, and so far, all have been corrected.

I would also keep an eye on a first receiver fee with the Flex Pack......

You did miss something! :) You are not locked into anything. Want to watch the Olympics, get a regular package for a month. Casual sports fan and it's getting to the end of the season and they fighting for a playoff spot? Get the add on with your RSN, then drop it.

I'm saving $20 a month with Flex+locals, so hopefully the first receiver fee doesn't go into effect anytime soon. My equip cost is almost as much as my programming, sure don't want to pay any more or I'll have to drop a Joey.

For those with the Flex Pack that would be my concern, I did not like that line item being added to the Programming fees in MyDish a couple of months ago. I did not and do not think DISH is adding it to packages, but now that I see the Flex Pack it makes me think they would to it there, or perhaps under some circumstances.

Unless I missed it I do not see the Dish America Packs listed. I am referring to America Silver or Gold which are no longer available but I am grandfathered into. It was mentioned that NBC Sports was only in the Top 200 or above. It is in the Dish America Silver Pack along with CBS Sports, the MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL(whenever it comes back) Networks.

It would seem idiotic to add a 1st receiver fee to only those with Flex Pack. That would reduce the value to zero in one fell swoop and would be a good way to see even more subscriber losses IMO.
