Flight games and Joystick for PS3 ?

Will a standard USB Joystick work in the PS3 or does it require some kind of wireless, blue tooth flight controller?

Any good flight simulation battle games available ?

A: I don't think just any USB controller will work in the PS3. If it did, then why bother buying one from Sony or its third parties?

B: As far as I can tell, no such games exist yet for the PS3...
