Florida Hd Locals Any News?

They've said Miami is planned to be added before June 30th passes.

That could change.

Orlando and Jax are scheduled sometime after June 30th and before December 31.

That's it for Florida DMAs in 2006 as they have announced it now

I hope so, getting tired of switching from Dish to OTA.

I'm in the 12th largest DMA in the US. No locals planned for all of 2006.

Why is this a problem? Does your Dish receiver not have the antenna input?
I live in Satellite Beach using OTA with my 942, and I am very happy with it.

I have a full intergrated HDTV, so I have the DISH plugged seperately from the OTA.
So when I need locals in HD, then I have to make the switch on the TV remote. Somewhat changing the subject, is it me, or is the HD feed from the local ABC affilate a constant pain in the a$$?? Some weeks you have the HD feed, some weeks you don't.

I really don't watch ABC (9-01) all that much. I will watch GMA occaissionally which is always in HD, with one the of the best pictures on any channel, until they switch to the local news. But even the local news' picture is outstanding. It just doesn't fill the screen.
