I get both the Fox news and Fox Business audio on FTA satellite AMC-1 KU. Satellite should be 101.0 West SES-1 just misread my chart

Thanks, I'm still a bit green to this lingo, is ITC the T4 satellite ? Also read something is on XM168. Not quite sure where that would be either

ITC = In The Clear

AMC-1 KU = 101.0°W

A cheap mpeg2 ird will work i have an old dish 1000 with lnf

Thanks, I'll see if i can program those satellites in, I just have a 4dtv dsr-922. I looked it up and I think on mine, AMC-1 is W1/K1

Sorry to say but your DSR-922 will not work.

You need a FTA DVB mpeg2 box. You can get a cheap one for around $10 if you post an ad on CL

You can use the 922 with a FTA reciever to pickup the FTA channels. Here's a link from Skyvisions that shows a hookup for the Traxis 3500 which would work for most receivers. Might help explain what you will need. http://www.skyvision.com/pages/information_center/PDFs/Traxis_3500old.pdf

Then it sounds like i will enjoy getting the right receiver..especially since the mountains around here cut out tv and radio. Right now i have zilch. rehits not working at SRL
