Former voomer D* deal

I called D* to check out the deals that are being talked about on the other threads ($299 -$100) and was told there was no offer for new subscribers. I mentioned that I was a former Voom customer and WOW.
She gave me the HD DVR for $99 after rebate, a free standard DVR after rebate and some other credits on the monthly charges.
It will be installed on Saturday, am I one happy camper.

Ding Dong Cable is gone.

Getting nervous

How long does it usually take D* to send a confirmation email of the order?
The csr said that she would send it out and it would contain all the rebates and incentives that she mentioned on the phone

I paid $199 after rebate for my non-DVR HD receiver with the Voom upgrade offer...

I cancelled to intstall!!!!!

And I thought Voom CSR's were bad.

I did not receive the confirmation email I was told would come so I called, boy am I glad I did.

The CSR found my order but it had the wrong phone #, the wrong spelling on the street and the city, and of course everything she had promised was wrong.

The new CSR said all I would get was the $100. rebate and POSSIBLY the $200 VOOM rebate although it had expired last month.

I canceled the order and am back to waiting for Mpeg4.
