Fox Cuts 'American Idol' Results to Half-Hour

Fox announced Friday that the upcoming 13th season (premiering Jan. 15 and 16) of the competition will feature an abbreviated results show -- with eliminations only taking up a half-hour of the Thursday block.

It's still too long.
When I used to watch the show I would zip by all the fluff and watch just the eliminations. It took about 10 minutes to watch the hour-long show.

This show has long gone past it's expiration date. They should of cancelled it when Simon left. I know I haven't watched it since he left.

My wife went to school with Kelly and were friends. They also took the same singing classes together, I wish my wife would have stuck it out. Her problem to this day is she sings great, but freezes in front of people.
