Can somebody give me some insight on why D* is dropping FSN Chicago? Is Fox dropping the channel, or just because the CSN Chicago contract is cheaper? I've been watching those 2 channels for a month now and all I can see is there are a whole lot more paid programming on CSN Chicago.

D* is dropping FSN Chicago because it has NO pro sports anymore. All of them have moved to CSN Chicago, and knowing FOX, they probably aren't willing to cut the price of FSN Chicago for operators to keep it.
