Free HBO offer?

I want to upgrade to the 722 & dish 1000 now , but I don't have an HD set yet. If I were to set up the install, would the clock start ticking on the free programming or could it be delayed until I have an HD set in operation. I would like to have the dish installed prior to the cold winter weather so hopefully, the installer would do a better job.

Honestly I think it all depends. I wasn't even aware of the free HBO until after I had subscribed. My wife told me about it days later. I called Dish and they said they would include it, they also asked if I wanted Showtime and Cinemax. I said sure, if its free give it to me. All I have to do is before the three months are done call and cancel. When you do connect ask for all the freebies you can get, hey, it doesn't hurt to ask. If you have the DVR you can take advantage and record all the movies you ever wanted to see. And you don't even need an HDTV to record the HD programing.
