I have a Uniden "satellite selector".
It's a 2 part system that uses about a 10-12 foot control cable. It will work for the newer actuators with a sensor. not sure about the old "10k" ones.
It does work.
You can use this if you have a 4DTV side car, or an FTA receiver. No remote, but as long as the cable is, you could sit the controller on your nightstand.
