coolsat 5k and openbox s9 get rtv in at 12862 h 4440 at 85Q.
setup is microhd, 4x1, 8x1 , multi-switch, FSS lnb .3 receivers on setup.

I cannot get the micro to snag it no matter what i do.

If u are using this /similiar combo, what tp does it end up at for your microhd? and what are your settings.
thanks

What do you have the LO frequency set to for the Coolsat and Openbox?

If you are receiving RTV on 12862, the LO frequency is likely set to 11250 and scanning only horizontal TP(18v).
12862 - 11250 = 1162 IF

Why not set the LO to 11250 and Blind Scan the Horizontal polarity only? This should match the FSS IF output. Change the default End Stop 11300 to make sure this high frequency is logged. Otherwise, the default End frequency is 12750.

10750 all boxes, but if i change the coolsat to 10750-13850 , rtv scans in as 11738 which would be close to correct. openbox doesnt have a 13850 setting to try.

no, is/was set to 10750, but i tried many of the Micros's LO settings and Detailed blind scanned EVERY time . The Coolsat always found some tps (shortest cable run)

I tried that, didnt find anything, no tps . However, when i tried it with the openbox and coolsat , it came in at 13363 and they found more then one tp also.
A bit later i will disconnect all the switches and go direct to the lnb to see if there is some other setup issue.

*later on a bit*
That is what it is, I swapped out the openbox for the micros spot and used the LNB pass thru . lit the micro right up along with the openbox on 12862 h 4440 so i took all the switches out and i can just barely get a reading on the tp. I need to dive into those cables for the west side of the house sat array and see what went wrong to require so much power to work right.
