What is the best dish to use for a fixed FTA for satellite 72w. I am just setting up something small to receive Nasa TV only.

Does Nasa broadcast on C band only or do they have a Ku band feed I don't know about.

other than the KU feed on Dish 119, NASA only broadcasts on C-band

I had decent results with a 4 footer but I know of a few folks who have used 5 footers with no issues

Yes, all true, but the OP said:

So, if he needs the multiple feeds, or the HD, or can get by with Dish Network 544x480, he has all the info to make his decision.
For all we know, it's going in for his aging grandfather, who has poor sight anyway. :)

And, all things being relative, the 119°w is not so bad, and a heck of a lot easier to set up.
In fact, I think we all wish WhiteSprings looked so good! - -

Okay, PKII, so what -are- you setting up for?
And which way did you decide to go?
Either is fine, but I know I'm curious! - :D

Doesn't sound like it was for this current Hubble servicing mission, or you'd have said you were watching it...
.. so... ??
