PBS HD and if you have a C Band Dish you can get Outdoor Channel 2 HD.

I use the DVB World USB box for HD and 4:2:2 but others here use the costly Quali receiver. Here is a link but not the actual US version.

I know of 2 places on-line and here in the US to get the Qualitv receiver. Maybe you can find some more. Go here to check them out:

They are both about the same price, I think. Take a note though, this machine is not for everyone. It has it's quirks, and can be very aggravating at times. It takes some getting used to. I definitely would not recommend it for a beginner. But, it does what other set top boxes can't. It will do 4:2:2 as well as HD. There is a unit made by Pace available in Europe now, it will do mpeg4. I think the Qualitv website has them, so if you talk to the above dealers, ask them about the mpeg4 Pace unit.

i4tas, there are wildfeeds/backhauls of sporting events found on ku, other than those, PBS HD is it. Sorry!

Spacestar Cobra

I'm also anxious to see a user friendly FTA receiver that does HD .

A while back someone posted a link to a new receiver called Cobra from Spacestar that does HD, I was hoping that someone who went to the satellite conference would talk about it, but I don't know if they had a booth there.

Ok I read that they will be at SATCON Conference New York on Nov 29-30.
