After all of these years I have purchased a few fta boxes. Some of them old/used and some of them new. Each having different features and options. Some of them small and cheap feeling. Some are nice and well built. The type that says hey I could picture dish or direct selling these. Heavy duty almost full size fit the audio rack. Not pull off the back of the shelf with the wire connected receivers. For me it is the fortec mecury II. Now outdated due to my space and not having HD. The newest receiver I have is a X2 premium II and yes I know due to the price. I did not expect much from it in anything. The remote is kinda cheap feeling and the box is small and light. It does the job well and fast for certain features. But just seems to be weak on other features.

TTFN,

Josh

Back when I bought mine in 2013, they were $49 shipped.

Some users reported poor motor control and lacking SD picture resolution as negatives for that model. On the plus side is the speedy blind scan.

I have no complaints.
