Is there and Fox, CBS, PBS and, NBC Feeds still on KU FTA Band. If so please reply. Been having a hard time to get them have pansat 4500. Have they all moved to HD. Any thoughts. :)

I live Near Buffalo, NY and Erie, PA what sized dish would i need. One place quoted me $3500.00 for a 10' with a motor arm and install with 2 boxes is that too high or can i get by with a 6' with a motor arm or a Prime Focus 8' offset dish where you place concret blocks to hold it.

Have been looking at other places as well. Looking for BUDS where i live is like a joke, where i live i am 65 miles out side Erie, PA and i have asked all of the people and they are going back to Motorola 4DTV programing because it is pretty bad when Time Warrner Cable wants $125.00 per month for regular and the movie stations when you can go on CBand for 80.00 Per month and WSEE used to be on FTA Dish. Many people in Erie, pa use them for FTA BUDS because there are a lot of european and asian people. People like it when they can get Deutsche Welle DWTV for free. Where i live there is one on every street block that was not working and they are now firing them backup because 4DTV is cheaper.

Hope that is the case all over!! Maybe if the big wheels see there is still a market for 4DTV they will invent a new updated version of the receiver.

I have noticed on 72 west that sometimes that the feeds come and go and I hear that alot of people stated that in other website forums. Lyngsat still has the TP's for it and they are current with my pansat 4500. Sometimes when you see it has rainbows and states that it is like a test feed.

Ice,

Would 72w Ku qualify? I see NBC main stream programs along with MSNBC all the time. Just not everyday, all day. Might be his only window for Ku SD.

Jim

since they are not up 24/7 with NBC I kinda disqualify them. Dont want to say "yeah they're there" then have it only show part time
and yes there is NBC on 103W KU but the OP doesn't have a DVB-S2 receiver so didnt want to say them either
