Have the future programming plans for 101W been canceled? It appears past statements have been revised and now all future Glorystar channels will only be on 97W?

Or is this all wrong, and we are just in a period of adjustment...

If that happens then I´d say it has to do with SES-1 @ 101w now having a smaller footprint than AMC 4 had (same orbital slot), and by keeping the channels in 97w the footprint still reaches farther up north and farther south than AMC 4 did (@ 101w) and also the caribbean. SES-1 @ 101w footprint has been tightened to the CONUS.

The reduced SES1 footprint coverage outside of the US and available channels currently limits our promotion of the SES1 satellite. Glorystar will continue to support dual LNBF systems sold for the two satellite reception and provide OTA updating channel lists for both satellites. Glorystar systems currently shipping are single LNBF systems for Galaxy19 and dual LNBF systems are still available upon request.

We are engaged in discussions on a project that would provide increased interest and growth of the 101W KU satellite position for North America. We will not be providing additional information at this time, but hope that we will be able to provide project details and confirmation of services at a future date.
