I finaly moved my 27" Toshiba tv from my other house which always had E* hooked to it, into my current house which has Comcast (no line of site available for E*). Cable channel 4 which is are local ota NBC 3 is fuzzy, 2 and 3 are a little too but 4 is the worst, when viewing on cable box or directly on TV but not when viewing on my Pioneer DVD recorder's tuner. I also did not have this problem whith my 20" Apex flat screen. Cable goes directly in to DVD recorder and out to a 2 way splitter sending signal seperatly to TV tuner and cable box which is connected to TV and DVD recorder through A/V cables for PIP and recording digital channels. could it be my splitter? Should I upgrade the splitter or amplify it? Why did I not have problem with 20" TV?

Does your cable box work on channel 4? (on your tv set) If so see if the box has s video output and see if that works better on your tv

Cable box will work on channel 4, however I prefer using the A/V cable's and have a direct cable connection to TV, my TV is a 1 tuner PIP model, the cable box through auxiliary becomes my 2nd tuner. My Motorola box does not have a S-Video connection, if it had one I would use it.
