72%-74%. I had 80-85 when I had my dish alignment screwed up but once I fixed the 55W-90W sat's I lost a few points.

Oops..forgot the equipment.

Fortec 0.4 LNB, Fortec Ultra, and a Fortec 90P.

38% rock steady with my satwork 3688, channel master 100cm, and invacom .3 flange connected to channel master feedhorn.
The satwork 3688 is very stingy with quality readings. I experience no breakups at all with this reading.

With a Pansat 2700 on my Winegard DS-2076 dish using the Quad Polar Invacom LNBF, I get a signal consistently in the 40s for quality.

With my Channel Master 1 meter (which is fixed at G-10R), a Norsat .9 PLL LNB, and matched Channel Master feedhorn, I get steady 60.

The problem with the poll is that every receiver has a different quality scale, so a 40 on a Pansat might be a 75 on something else.

On the Pansat 2700, I usually do not get breakup until the quality drops below 30...

It Varies

I get "The Tube" on my Fortec Ultra, .3 Xtreme lnbf and motorized 36" dish with signal strength of 79% and Quality hovering in the high 50% to low 60%. My Coship 5300b shows 87% strength and 97% quality. I also have a Nexus -S PCI card that uses a passthru on the 5300b and shows 37% to 44% signal but 100% quality. Even if these figures are way off, the signal is rock steady and I can record to hard disk with near perfect quality. My Coship is connected to a Primestar 40" dish and .6 lnbf.

I live in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Fortec 180cm is here and will be complete by the end of the weekend. That should improve my results, because after three hours yesterday I still can't get better than 40% or so.

I'm thinking I need about 50%-60% minimal to do any DVR stuff...:)

post-Katrina

After the passage of Hurricane Katrina, signal in South Florida for The Tube has risen from low 60s to mid 70s. As Artie Gordon used to say on Laugh-In, "Very Interesting".

On my 76cm winegard with .5 lnb and using the satworks 3618 i get a rock solid 39% which is very watchable except when one of the various forms of precipitation that we get in vermont is coming down hard.

On my 10' BUD (304 cm ;) ) with .7 lnb and using the Pansat 2700a I get ~65% sq. I think I can do better than that tho, I havent yet peaked (as far as FD and centering) my "new to me" corotor yet.

85% signal strength, 90-93% quality on my Coship, using a P* 26" x 36" dish and the Fortec .4 lnbf.

Considerably lower on the Fortec receiver--lucky to get 50% on it (depends on the day).

Receivers DO make a world of difference; channels that show some breakup on the Fortec don't at all on the Coship.

Typically, I get between 45-50 in the daylight hours, and between 55-60 in the wee morning hours when I workout.

Haven't tried "working out" to get a better signal, doubt I will either :D

I get a steady 76 signal strength and a 29-35 quality signal using a Fortec 80cm dish with a Coolsat 0.6 ku-lnbf on my Pansat 3500s. Don't generally use my BUD for ku fta, just C-band fta, so I haven't checked it.

Thats strange...

Equip: Winegard 32", 031 LNB, 2100 rotor, Pansat 2500A.

On G10R TP1 (11720V) I get 0% Quality, 75% Level.

But "The Tube" is comming in on TP21 (11718V) at 47% Quality and 78% level?????

This was from a blind scan.

Either that or the tree that was partially blocking the signal isn't in the way anymore. :D

I'm getting 82 level and it jumps between 50 and 60 on the quality
Fortec ultra, 31in dish and a .4 fortec lnb

each LNB may be off on the frequency by 1 or 2

I always thought the TP was 11719 because my receiver always hits it as such.

you're on the right TP Jontevo

Thanks Iceberg.... Just another curve ball this FTA throws at you now and again....

My "The Tube" Signal

I just hooked up my Coolsat 4000 Pro system tonight thanks to help from PSB & W Tracy. I'm getting an 81% signal and 69% quality. Thanks again for the help guys

that tp is always weak on my pansat 2500A
Even with peaking the dish on the best possible day I think I have seen 60% quality but usually its 40-45%. If there is a cloud in the sky it goes out or down to 10%.
One day, I had 12% steady and had a good signal lock with no pixelization.
