I am seeing that several spanish language channels on G18 now have a black screen. Including WUMN, KXUN, WWKO, etc..Any updates on what is happening with these channels or is it part of the solar outage?

This may have something to do with equity Media's bankruptcy situation. I thought of that too, but the channels are now back after a power scan..Probably a solar outage..I did notice a new channel 65 (Fortec Dynamic Receiver) with the Label "Honolulu Sat TV" With what looks like educational programming..Also I notice a "Freedom TV" on 47 with color bars..Any idea if that will ever come on?
Freedom is a 3CTV channel if I'm not mistaken. It has always been color bars for as long as I can remember.
I noticed something interesting on G18. I was trying out a Scientific Atlanta D9234 receiver I picked up and noticed the channels scan in as RTN 01, 02, 03 etc. It doesn't pick up the call letters the way typical FTA receivers do on this satellite. Something in the data still refers to RTN for some reason.
On AMC9, on the current RTNs, it just saves as 01 and 02, no east or west.

The Coolsat 8000 when doing a manual scan on the 2 Equity TP's it logs at the top of the screen in the menu as "RTN" for some reason
I noticed this as well when I rescanned G-18 last night on the Visionsat. If it wasn't for the nasty break-up between RTN and Equity, I'd be holding out hope for a RTN return to G-18...
