Here in Columbia County, NY I had a pleasant surprise Sunday. I now receive WYBN and WEPT.

My kitchen and bedrooms are antenna TVs only. I turned on my small kitchen TV that was on MeTV 13.2 and grabbed the remote to channel up to PBS Create on 17.2 without looking at the screen. With my back turned, a COZI TV commercial was airing. Suddenly I realized what I heard. COZI? What? I was on 14.2 WYBN!

It's great to have COZI, Rev'n and This TV and Retro locally. Making a total of 33 OTA channels here.

For all the others you list, I agree ...

But for Retro TV, I don't know ...

What's up with that network anyhow?

Currently get Retro on KBEH-DT3 63-3 here in LA and the PQ for the classic TV shows they broadcast is absolutely crap. And really look like old home VCR recordings.

In addition the program episode descriptions are usually always just the general background info. about the show with nothing specific about the particular episode.

And another weird thing is that a show's opening and closing credits and original theme music is missing a lot. And a still graphic with some other music is dubbed in is playing.

Again the whole network just looks and sounds awful to me ....

HoTat2,
Locally RETRO is an LP station, which pretty much airs local programming like shopping in N GA and infomercials except for some primetime stuff and weekend shows. It's basically down to zilch..nothing. Pq looks definitely 480 or less. RETRO originates from Chattanooga TN, and the main local affilitate stopped carrying it on 3.2 when they filed for bankruptcy protection & started Antenna TV. Now Luken Comm. has started a LP channel 6 with like 6 or 7 subchannels carrying all their channels. Problem is no cable operator carries that feed. Comcast and EPB carries WDNN from Dalton GA (N GA) the infomercial and shopping N GA stuff. Even to pick up the channel 6, I lived 5 miles from the transmitter and it was weak with an amp. You can get the main channel 6, but not where I am now, approx 30-35 miles from most transmitters. You must have a pretty big aerial antenna aimed right at it to get it. MeTv and Antenna TV and just recently ION was added on 3.3. I recieve 28 OTA channels. Not bad for a horrible tvfool run and where I am. Took LOTS of tweaking, too. Luckily, I'm a hobbyist..lol

I've watched Retro TV go through many generations such as the original RTN and RTV phases and is only a shell of what it once was from Equity Broadcasting. I found it originally FTA satellite around 2005 and had it on WTEN 10.3 OTA from Albany, NY a bit later. The programming back then was more like MeTV, Cozi and Antenna TV networks today. Thinking back, it was the very first digital FTA satellite signal I scanned in on what was G10R at 123W with my Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra DVB receiver.

The Republic of Doyle is about the only program that interests me on their current line up.

Same with KC area cable systems that are in more then on city don't pick up the low power stations and before have to carry all sub channels on KMCI/KCTV5/KSMOTV/FOX4KC.
