Galaxy 123 18 With no EPG in my FTA Rec.

Hello Guys:

I have a question yesterday I finally got galaxy18 at 123 but muy fta captive works 600 rec. does not give me any EPG information?

Sorry, FTA does not have EPG info, that info is added by the "provider"

You might want to try Titan TV or Zap2it for a web based guide.

I use Zap2it, with a lot of playing around with locations, zip codes and Google you can build up a guide that covers a lot of the stations.

Here are a few zip codes that I remembered to write down that might help you

KBTZ zip 59731 FOX affiliate
KCBU zip 84043 ??? KCBUDT
KMMF zip 59804 similar to KATV
KUTF zip 59804 Spanish

The PBS stations are on AMC21

If you use a PC there are ways to directly import the data into an EPG

BJ (Bob Jones) University is probably the only ones you might find an EPG on.

a few of the ethnic channels on 97 have a EPG too...but its in a different langusge

Just another reason I like a PVR.
Have a 500gb drive on my Visionsat IV-200.
So, once I find a show I like that's on daily or weekly, I program it in.
Then, whenever I want something to watch, several episodes are already recorded. - :up
