Galaxy 19, 97W list of TV and radio stations' names

Today I blind scanned all available programs from 97 W using my old CW800 - which can show 25 stations in one screen. It took 9 photos of TV and 6 pictures of radios. Just wonder why some of programs scanned without their names, showing only Prog and number? There is 211 TV's and 126 radio programs. Our forum's member, Northgeorgia, does good job in updating this sat's programs, however, my old Mac does not decipher xls files. Cheers, polgyver

How many transponders did you get?

In the past on other STBs, I would sometimes get the "Program #" when the signal was very weak or the dish wasn't aligned properly (the motor was still moving, etc.) You should get a few more than 211 TV stations, as I have just done a blindscan and have 227 ITC stations listed (not counting the scrambled channels you also scanned with your receiver). Must be missing a transponder somewhere?

Hi, Jorgek and Northgeorgia, you are right: my rec missed transponders, total : six (!). My dish, Q-sat, 101 x 89 cm (40" x 35") is pointed correctly, the weather was good, so, the culprit is probably my CW 800. A few weeks ago I scanned this sat with Micro HD and got 9 H transponders and 13 V transponders (however, one transponder : 11706 V, was missing). According to our "The List", it should be 23 transponders.
My CW missed : 11874 H, 12028 H, 12062 H, 11789 V, 11960 V and 11991 V. This is quite a lot, given that the rec showed rather high S/Q values (pictured below). How come this could happen?

I've noticed, quite often on 97 with the S9, that after a blindscan a TP scan will 'fill in the blanks'. It will occasionally get the TP but not the channels. Some other satellites requires manually adding the TP because it misses it completely. Don't know why as the TP's are usually 70Q ??????
