Gefen AC3 to analog converter box

Anybody have experience with this product? They claim you can plug a digital audio output cable in one end and get RCA jack analog audio out the other. It's a bit pricey though. Are there other similar converters available?

Search the FTA forum for "sonic voom". It's a converter.
I think it sometimes goes for $15..20
Believe it's got http://www.satelliteguys.us/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1496071both optical AND coax digital input, and for output two RCA.

Everybody uses the device, since it's so cheap.
