I have a GeosatPro 90cm dish. Trying to figure where in the yard to have it to clear the most obstacles.

At what angle does the beam come to the satellite dish? Or is it in line with the center of the dish to the center of the LNB?

Thanks.....

Rule of thumb for offset dish is to get behind and below the dish and view bottom edge to just over the top of the LNB, that is your satellite position

The GEOSATpro 90cm is an offset dish and aims at an angle that is 26 degrees higher than the face of the dish is aimed (6 degrees higher than the arm is pointed at).

You do not need to calculate any offset angles for the dish as you determine what limbs to cut. Use an inclinometer or angle finder to sight the angle for the satellite that you wish to aim at. You can use our satellite aiming calculator at www.GeoSat Finder.com to determine the aiming coordinates.

Thanks

Thanks for all the replies, guys...... I really appreciate it.
