You may be able to get Directv Latin America, but you can't get the regular US programming.

But I try to get i satellite signa but i can´t get the signal, and the satelite for latin america is closer to the us? can some one help me for this?

Just type in a US zip code and get the info, might work.

You will need a really big antenna!

According to Satbeams.com there is a little bit of signal from 101 that spills into Columbia. You'll need a 6 meter dish though! I'd probably go with an 8 meter just to be safe.

Some years back I chatted with someone who was able to receive the D* 101 sat in Central America, they were using a large fiberglass dish that was made locally, I can't remember the size though....
