Get ready to fall back, 2025

Mine too, as long as that setting is turned on ....

Is your ?
Our Forester gets its time signals from the Internet, just like a phone and PC. I haven't seen a setting to control DST, but it may be hidden somewhere in all the menus. The dealer rep says it's automatic. We'll know tomorrow...

People living in sane states such as Arizona can disregard.
I'd prefer to stay on standard year round.

Don't see any real efforts to change things though.
I vote for Daylight Savings year round.

Sunlight.

I do live in AZ, but am a transplant from back east. I do love that we don't change our clocks, but I would prefer the rest of the country stay on Standard Time. And the answer why is simple, sports.

It doesn't sound like much, but I miss the first half of MNF and TNF because for most of the season, these games start at 5:15. Now that everyone else changed their clocks, they start at 6:15. Doesn't sound like much of a difference, but it is. :)

Why are we still doing this? A do-nothing congress?
I suspect that Congress is waiting for more states to get on board with the idea. Existing federal law dictates that the states can't go it alone permanently.

Thus far, only 18 states, two of which suffer two time zones -- Idaho and Oregon, have made it official that they want to standardize, and I'm not sure they all agree on which way to go.

I never really cared. If it gets dark early, it gets dark early. If it's light outside until 2100, it makes no difference to me. For the most part, I don't go anywhere after work, I'll sit inside watching TV or on the computer with no lights on and the blinds down so I'm oblivious to the outside. I don't have any clocks to change anymore, not even the microwave as I no longer have a microwave and haven't for years. Never used the thing, only good for melting ice cream. I swear those things change the molecular structure of food making things taste like rubbery crap.

The only time I really had a care was for the 5 months I had my Bronco two years ago. The #2 thing I didn't link about it was the short and squaty windshield. My work commute in is a 30 minute drive East and going home is a 30 minute drive West. Driving into the sun with that pathetically small and narrow windshield was not fun and dangerous at times. The visor was so large when it came down it covered most of my view, and it wouldn't clear the rearview mirror without having me to move the mirror. So I loved that period when I was going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.

I actually enjoy driving in the dark and in the rain. Driving a long distance on an interstate on a dark stormy night is relaxing for me.

Bottom line, DST can stay or go, I truly do not care, never have and probably never will.
