You might want to test your stream speed via your roku to make sure its ok.Enable playback debug mode.It will show you the stream speed for about 10 secs at the start.

To enter debug mode, all keypresses about 1/2 second a part. Hit HOME 5 times, Rew 3 times, FF 2 times. You will see a box for enabling debug mode, check it.

Thanks I will give that a try right now

I ran the debug and it is interesting. I ran all of these within 5 minutes of each other.

I then checked my speed and it was 9.80 Mb up and .714 down

HBO-Go
1.4 of 3.2 available (was OK but this is day time)
1.5 of 3.7 available

Amazon
1.3 of 7.4 available (fast and excellent ... always is day or night)

Pop Flix
1.6 of 2 available (jumps and it sucked)

Added note. My Roku is connected via home wiring link to the router ... no issues with wireless. Since Amazon works great 24/7 it appears to be HOB-Go ...

You might wanna check your router settings, make sure it's broadcasting fast as possible. You can also try moving the roku around a bit to see if you get faster speeds.I had to move mine in the br,it was in the entertainment center, speeds weren't so great, placed it on top speeds were much better.

Yes, but they don't allow you to watch it on a Roku player. Comcast and DirecTV are the two holdouts for that.

If you ever want to read some convoluted logic, go to the other satellite forum and read some of the posts about it from the DirecTV defenders.

That's a big reason why I am so glad I found this site. I used to have Direct and would ask a question or have a problem and BAM!!!! They would be all over you. There are some sad and pathetic people on the site. I remember the thread on the Roku and it was just sad reading the replies to the guys questions.
