Commercial installs always take a link budget into consideration. They plan ahead for interference bad weather etc. I have a friend in the commercial game, he currently is doing a DBS system that wiil look at multiple satellites for Direct tv. He's using 1.2 meter commercial dishes to prevent the above mentioned. If we followed those rules we wouldn't have issues either. But heck when you can get free dishes and play around with small stuff your bound to run into problems.
Im thinking that if G-18 gets up and running soon It will help out the 11720 issue somewhat. G-10R's drifting around alot, and Im not sure but if G-18 is anything like G-16, it will give 121 a run for it's money. Hey then Charlie may have to do some tweaking
