Goltv, Fox Soccer Channel and other poor quality SD channels

Just finished hooking up my Comcast HD DVR box to my new Sony 40" 1080p LCD tv and I almost cried when I saw how crap Gol Tv and FSC look, even compared to other SD channels, the artifacting is ridiculous. I am sure the issue is the lack of bandwidth Comcast is allocating these two channels. After messing with the colour settings and running my SD channels through an S Video connection instead of HDMI for HD I have it where it is at least watchable. Anyways my question is for anyone that has the Comcast sports entertainment pack and a widescreen tv, do those two channels look crap on yours as well????

looks fine for me. are you sure you are tuned into the hd version of the channel. I have both the hd and the sd versions.
