I need to point out that YES, SNY, and Thrillermax are not on Dish at all, hence, not in HD. That's a different discussion. As for Moremax, isn't Cinemax East and West in HD enough?

Are there any HD channels Dish has and DirecTV doesn't? Wouldn't a proper comparison include that information?

Top of my head, PAC12. But as mentioned earlier, a different argument for a different day.

Even if directv has hd channels dish doesn't , their Genie doesn't even compare to the hopper 3. When I was with my cable company, I'd often ask when they would add HD channels. They promised more was coming.... After so long of promises, I just left.

None of us have control when more HD channels will come. Enjoy your hopper 3 Allen. If it's missing a thing or two you want, just enjoy what it does have. Enjoy the HD dish does have and be thankful it's not all SD tv.
