I did a quick listening session... it sounds as though the station in question is badly "overdriven"...

By that I mean, the gain is set way too high... and the music is distorting...
That's why you're hearing the background noise at such a high level...

i would not say all country music sounds compressed someone needs to get all the siriusxm music channels at 128kpbs which is stereo when you stream a station.i listen to alot of radio stations on tunein that is 128kpbs and they sound pretty good.
