Guess the City

I'm trying to guess what city is being shown on the live web cam on SES 2 at 87W 11960 H 29269 (Newsource HD). In my mind, it must be in the U.S., it cannot be NYC, but it's a big city. It must be a little northerly judging by vegetation. What city uses orange taxis? Chicago? Atlanta? Where is this?

NYC has orange taxis now?? I thought it looked like NYC near Central Park, but I thought that city only had yellow taxis. You win bragging rights, if you're right.

Google Earth street view seems to confirm. And those taxis are yellow after all. The camera or somewhere in the video chain has that colour incorrect.

Dude you're slipping... the yellow taxis gave it away. IIRC London has black cars, Paris are multi colored while Montreal, well, anything uninspected on 4 wheels will do.

Did you look at the video? The taxis were/are orange. This is why I eliminated NYC. If the taxis had been yellow, my guess was NYC due to high rises and Central-looking park adjacent to the circle.

I hate to steal the focus from your original post, but how are you receiving Newsource HD? It always shows as encrypted on my Quali-tv. The picture quality from your image grab looks really good. It looks like Anderson Cooper's talk show set on Columbus Circle.

As Fat Air says, it depends when you check whether those tps are encrypted or not. By the way, Post #7 is not snapped live, I don't believe. It is from wikipedia. Post #1 was snapped live off the screen.
