I am trying to program an RCA universal remote for the Directv H10. Does any one know who are the manufacturers of the H10? Ive tried the codes associated with directv and hughes but neither of those work. tia

It doesn't matter who makes the receiver, they all use the same codeset, one no named brand of satellite receiver ever used. Only receivers to use this codeset have all been branded Directv. What is the model of RCA universal remote?

i ended up getting the sony rm-vl600 unit at walmart. code for h10 works for the most part. also, my sony dvd player also works well with the unit. i am working on "learning" my olevia's codes.

btw edmund, does your down arrow work when in the h10 guide? up arrow works fine, but the down arrow doesnt work

But then it doesn't have a code for the Olevia tv.

Actually, Edmund, you'd be getting a RC32 remote as a replacement now, and D* has included a code for Olevia-11331. If you can get an RC 64, there are four codes-11144, 11240, 11331 and 11610.

Code 11331 is useless on the latest olevia tv's, the code needed is 11610, which is only available in the RC64, which has't been released yet.

But you were to get a one-for-all upgradeable universal remote like the urc-8910, you can have tv code 1610 loaded over the phone.
