H10 receiver trouble

On reboot I get "finding sattelites failed". I have performed the system self-test and it shows "receiver failure" and "LNB Failure". I am showing signal on the signal meter for various transponders in system setup. I have repaired any possible connection issues with the cable. Other receivers (not HD) work fine on this run, I get the same error message when I use this HD receiver on another room's cable. I have also switched the connections from the LNB to make sure I had signal from each.

I am assuming the receiver is bad. Any suggestions?

Try unplugging the receiver for about 10 seconds. I had the same problem whenever I came across channels in the 90's. When I unplug it and plug it back in, it works.

my first guess would be a bad reciever as well.
