H21 Connect to TV Options

H21

HDMI is one way to connect to TV. Are there other ways/wires to connect to TV.

In other words, if there is another way to connect the H21 to TV - sound and video - other then the HDMI?

If so, how and what types of wires are needed?

You can do HDMI, component (red/blue/green) with audio cables or audio/video (red/yellow/white) cables

but do keep in mind, that if you connect via audio/video cables (red/yellow/white) that is picture will not be hd, for hd, you must use either your current hdmi, or component cables (5 rca cables r/g/b-r/w)

HDMI is the best choice and will give true HD

Component video with Audio is next best also giving true HD but it limited to 1080i (although that is all D* delivers other then PPV type stuff).

Other means are
HDMI with a DVI adapter at the TV but you will also need audio cables then. This will be true HD.
S-vid w/audio cables (not HD)
A/V cables (not HD)
and coax using an RF modulator (definitely not HD)

Why not use HDMI?
I am guessing your TV has it.
