Rated 9.5 at Gamespot. This isn't even my kind of game really, not a huge FPS guy, but the review covers all the pieces it brings to the table pretty well it seems and they give it a 9.5

How long will it take for Sony to have a game that can compete with this kind of offering?

I would hope that Halo 3 could get that kind of reviews, its THE flagship game for the console, if it didnt get that, it would be a giant black-eye for Microsoft.

Sony will have there exclusives that rock over time as well...

Sitting here in my cubical thinking about midnight tonight. I can hear the theme music roaring through my head and drumming the rythm for all to hear. Not really, that would get annoying very fast.

But seriously, I'm gonna buy it tonight and I have an elaborate leave early plan for work. Gonna divide my hour long lunch to make it to the Gamestop in time.
