well we finealy found a wonderful place in sc 10 miles from conway ,the owner has a 12 ft c band stoped useing it as of april in switched to cable,
they have offerd it to me when we move in next week.
so now i will be in the real worrld of fta.
just gotta figure how this all is gonna go into play since everything switches to digital.
i just wonder what type of good equipment i will need as in resevers and will i still have all the fun all the times you al have had feed hunting n channel hunting ,happy new years to all

congrats on the find

just gotta figure how this all is gonna go into play since everything switches to digital.
everything going to digital by a certain date only affects over the Air transmissions although some of the analog have been dropping on c-band , several are still there + wild feeds

but a DVB receiver will still get the digital signals, the same receiver that works for ku also works for c-band :)

Will 2009 be the year of the "Holy Grail" of satellite receiver??
DVB S2 blind scan and 4:2:2
