It could be your mini. Pause FF RW and play and instantaneous across my HR54 C61k and 2 C41 minis

On my C61k, it may start FF or RW instantly, but whenever I hit play again, there is a multi-second delay before playback resumes. Compared to the Tivo Minis I used to own, it seems glacial. I would blame MPEG4 vs. MPEG2, but the Wireless Joeys from Dish don't seem to have this problem.
