hello all maybe some one can give me some ideas here, installed a dish 1000.4 with a dish 500 dual lnb for 110 locals here in Maine, tried two receivers, replaced both lnbs, but i am still getting no 110 sat on switch checks, checked all cables and cable ends.but cant seem to find anything wrong with equipment. checked signal strength and cable to 500 dish and getting great signal strength, but when i do a switch check on 222k receivers,(tried two receivers just in case), it will not show 110 for locals, any ideas???,the 110 connects threw the 1000.4 LNB, Thanks in advance for any ideas.

when we us our sat buddy on 110 we are getting great signal strength , around 75%,but when we hook the 110 to the 1000.4 and do a switch check, we can not get the 110 to show, but we can get the 61.5 and 72.7 in around 58%, and they are locked in.But again no 110.

That explains it. If you are getting 61.5 and 72, you will not get 110 with a single dish. The first 2 are earc, 110 is warc. Using the point Dish will not work. What you need to do is lock onto 61.5 or 72, then press done. Then it will download all the info into the receiver.

Here In Northern Maine we don't use a one dish solution, we use 110 for our locals and the 61.5 and 72.7 for other channels.,but that still does not explain why we are not getting 110 to show up on signal meter, we done over 300 installs, and never had this issue. We use a dish 500 to receive 110 and a Dish 1000.4 For 61.5 and 72.7

Assuming you're talking about a new installation. Have you tried letting the 222 receiver download software with just the eastern arcs then run a check switch again?

We Tried 2 different LNBs on the 1000.4 and the Dish 500 with the same results. What we figured out today is that the software in the 222K was out dated and after hooking it up to our test bed at work, and doing the download, everything is great.THANKS TO EVERY ONE FOR THERE HELP!!!!!!.
