I have a vip722 hooked up to a 1000.4 on the eastren arc. My locals are Knoxville, TN on the 110 satelite. I added a dish pro 500 to the 4th port and pointed it to 110. I ran a switch test and I am getting a good signal from 110 on port 4. When I try my local channels the receiver is trying to get them off of 61.5. How do I get the receiver to look for the channels on 110?

Did you run a check switch to add the 110 sat to your switch matrix? IF not then run that and the locals will come off the 110 sat ,unless they are on both 61.5 and 110? Then it would most likely go to 61.5 first since you have eastern arc 1000.4 sat dish. I have a similar situation with a 1000.4 dish and a dish 500 for 110 sat for distants from AAD. My Houston locals are in hd on both 61.5 and 110. So sometimes they come off of 110 , but most of the time it defaults to 61.5. I'm covered either way.

Yes, 110 shows up on switch matrix. locals on 61.5 give a message saying Sorry for the interuption. don't call us, we are aware of the problem.. Has been like that for two months. Receiver works fine on a 1000.2 on the westren arc at my cabin. Been trying to get it to work with the dish I have here on my house. Might just have to buy a 1000.2.

What's the signal strength on 61.5 for you locals? There is no way to force the unit to look to 110 if you have locals on 61.5. It will always go to it 1st. The interruption screen you are seeing is built into the rec. It isn't coming from sat. It sounds like you have another problem like a dish that isn't peaked correctly or bad LNBF.
