Mydirect TV set up is the 18in dish. ( i've had it a long time)
It is pointed at 205 az at 43 degrees from my location. Zip 40204.
I'm not sure if i am pointed at Gall 11 or not.

Also I do not have a Nimiq1 on my receiver set-up.
OK so that dish is aimed at Directv 101, which unfortunatelly doesnt have any FTA on it.

There is a couple ways we can do this
-hook up your 30" dish to the reciever and aim it at those exact numbers you have above. AMC4 is at the same spot as DirecTV.

Make sure the LO frequency is 10750 for the LNB and you should have this transponder in your setup
11822 freq
H polarity
5700 symbol rate

Thats a couple church channels and are VERY STRONG. Aim for them and do a scan of ALL (not FTA). The quality for these is pretty high (near 80 if I remember right)

-If you can move the DirecTV dish, move it to Echo6. That is at 110 West. The numbers for your area are
40 elevation
220 azimuth

The LO needs to stay at 11250 and pick one of the following
12224 V 20000
12253 V 20000
12282 V 20000
12341 V 20000

and scan FTA only (heck, scan all. That would tell us what channels you get) :)

qwiklaff, if you're using the 18" dish, it's to small to get anything with the 10750 LO setting. You need to use your bigger dish.

He is trying to get SOMETHING so he is working with both a 30" and a 18" 9the 18 was aimed at DirecTV). I gave him a couple options in my post above :)

I cannot move teh Direct TV dish..it's a rooftop mount and bear to get to. I'm going to attempt the other suggestion on my next day off work. I'll let you guys know what happens. Thanks again.
