So thanks to the Corona I've been at home watching more non-streaming TV and noticed a new ad from AT&T featuring a humanoid blob creature. Usually I ignore AT&T's inserted ads but decided to pay attention to this one (mainly because the lil blue dude was on a sofa with pizza and popcorn lol.)

So anyway the ad is about ensuring customers are using their credentials and points to this website. Interesting tidbit it links to an HBO Max webpage on AT&T's website where they confirm some details that the official HBO Max website hasn't confirmed.
  • (Already confirmed) AT&T customers with HBO will have access to HBO Max at no additional charge.
  • (New) "HBO Max ... will be included with any AT&T plan that currently includes HBO." They go on to highlight 6 examples which includes DirecTV's Premier/Lo Maximo, U-Verse TV's U400 (Grandfathered) / U450 (Current), AT&T TV Now Max & AT&T Unlimited Elite. However since they said "any" and pointed out a grandfathered U-Verse TV package it is safe to say any grandfathered base package and grandfathered wireless plan with HBO will include HBO Max as well plus AT&T TV Now Plus.
While small this is the most new info to come out about HBO Max since the October event. Pretty much if you have HBO or plan on getting HBO the credentials you use to check your account, use TV Everywhere apps and/or use HBO Go are the ones you use for HBO Max is the gist of the ads and the websites.

Wheh you can’t get out of your contract with Directv

Directv/AT&T to pay dealers 70% of commissions for March/April
