I recently received an HD lcd monitor for xmas. I subscribe to directv with 4-regular digital receivers and 1 hd-dvr receiver. Is it possible to purchase another HD receiver from ebay or on this classified forum and still be able to hook it up to my new tv and get an hd signal. Our do I have to lease a receiver from DirecTV?

Yes you can buy one and hook it up though I would recommend that you go with either a trusted member of the site here or one of the gold sponsors at the top of of each page, if you go through ebay be sure to go with a seller that has a good rating and has been around for a while.
