forgive me for my ignorance but what do storms in cheyenne have to do with an outage across the country?

I've lost everything as well. 110/118/119/61.5 It's been about 10 mins now. It looks fine outside and it's not even completely cloudy but I know storms are supposed to be coming. Never really lost it like this before, though.

110,119,and 129 gone. I still have the locals on spotbeam and that is it. Like above post said there is a severe storm in Cheyenne so maybe that is it.

Just rebooted and now Customer Service is greyed on the main menu and cannot access Program Guide because receiver is not able to access data . . . WTF?????????????????

I lost everything too. 110/118/119/61.5 It's been about 15 minutes now and it's not completely cloudy outside thought I know there are storms to the southwest. Just don't recall losing it all like this and so early in recent memory. So, are the Mets winning yet? LOL!

Cheyenne is the uplink center for Dish. These storms act like rain fade in reverse, the sats can see the signal..this may be a off and on deal tonight.

I just tried a reboot from the front of the 622 and the channels came back...eventually. Thank God I have an antenna out back for OTA. It cycled through the satellite search many times before coming back on.
