Hd Ppv

I know that we have discussed the crappy HD PPV selections before, but is anyone purchasing them. I have purchased a couple this past year but until a movie debuts on HD the same time as it does on SD I will not be purchasing many.So the question is since the new HD PPV channels were added (taking up valuable bandwidth ) has anyone been purchasing them?

I don't, I still buy the SD version. Can't justify the cost.

We have purchased 3 or so I think, Disturbia, Delta Farce, kinda nice to archive them and watch them when you have time.

If it comes down to giving us Speed HD in February, or USA-SCI FI, hope they dump the PPV
for that though.

No. Upconverted SD DVD's look better than those cropped, down rezzed, overly compressed HD PPV shows. They got me twice with Casino Royale and A Bridge to Terabithia. No more...

Since I only have an HD DVD player, I rent and archive the Blu-Ray only titles.

I purchased Next the other night since I knew it was not coming to Blu-ray. I'll purchase Transformers on HD PPV when it shows up too. I've noticed a LOT of Paramount & Dreamworks movies showing up on HD PPV lately. When is Transformers supposed to hit PPV?

Also, I only have one HD-PPV channel set up in my favorites. Where are the others and when did they come online?

Hi Chet, the extra HD PPV channels have been on for over a month now and are on channels 531 thru 539

Thanks. I added them to my favorites, but I may make an additional favorite just for HD PPV. It looks like the additional channels are "All Day" for one movie. I guess that's good for those of us that don't want to have to wait until it airs on the original HD PPV channel.
