HD UI

Anybody know the software the new HD UI is on? I've seen pics and is kinds curious cause it look pretty bad @ss

A quick mention that you can only download it when Directv offers it.

Generally the offer a CE release Friday/Saturday night, 11pm to 2am ET.

You will not be able to just download anytime, it completely depends on Directv offering it.

I'd say probably in a month or two, but you really don't know for sure. It depends on how long it takes to iron any bugs out of it. Most likely they will want to have the whole thing complete, with new guide/list/features before it goes national. What we got in the CE had many things 'ported' into it from the old GUI, indicating that the new versions weren't even ready to unleash on CE testers.
