I have been a Dish Network customer for 5 years and am not currently under contract. I have the 625 Duo DVR now but I would really like to upgrade to the free HD. After inquiring about it, I was a bit shocked at how much is cost for the 722 receiver and installation. Does Dish ever make deals for a free receiver if I sign another contract? I may have to consider switching to Direct TV just to get an HD receiver and installation for free (not to mention the half off service for a year). Just wondering if anyone can help. I apologize if this has been answered before. I didn't find much in my search.

You should be able to get a free reciever if your account is in good standing. PM a member of the DIRT team and they'll help you out.

PM your phone number or account number and I'll get you the details on upgrading

How did you come out on the upgrade? I am just about to buy my first HDTV & am not sure how to approach the subject of upgrade & what to expect.

Thanks!

PM a DIRT member for answers specific to you. They are highlighted in RED at the bottom of the Forum page. If none appear, they are not on duty at the moment. Try later.
