HD upgrade

If I have a SD box and purchase an HD box can I just swap them and receive HD service? CSR says yes since I have HD DVR, therefore an HD signal

You'll also need the new 5-LNB dish to receive the new HD channels.

That is correct. Although, if you have an older dish, you'll also need a dish upgrade to the new 5-LNB to get all of the new HD channels. And of course you'll need to add the HD programming package.
