Am thinking of getting a HDD-200 decoder for my 922. How well do they work and do they cause anykind of problems. Since I record a lot of shows(have a HD TV with DVI connector),but my recorder is not a HD recorder, will the recordings be some better recording a HD show. Will get a HD recorder in the near future. The decoders seem to be aroung $300 which isnt bad, just hope C band stays around long enough to get my moneys worth.

I thought about the HDD200 myself, but at about $300 for only a few channels presently available, it just doesn't add up. The software is another concern if it has not been updated for the Starz drop out issue. Unless you find one cheap, I feel buying a used one is risky. Many have the MMAP cable missing also.

I would inquire about the software and cable to any seller of the HDD200/201 to help avoid an expensive mistake.
